Dermal Fillers

1 Area £110 | 2 Areas £180 | 3 Areas £240

Anti Wrinkle Injections are mainly used to treat frown lines, the lines on the forehead, ‘crow’s feet’ or ‘laughter lines’ around the eyes.  They can also be used to reduce a gummy smile and soften lines around the mouth, making your skin look younger, fresher and brighter. They are also preventative in stopping lines from forming in the future.

What is the procedure?

A small amount of botulinum toxin is injected into the muscles surrounding the line with an ultra fine needle which helps the muscle to relax, reducing the lines and making your skin look younger, fresher and brighter.

It isn’t painful and cream can be applied to stop the scratch that can be felt on application. Most patients have only mild and temporary discomfort afterwards.

The entire procedure usually takes no longer than 10 minutes. You are likely to see wrinkles softened in 3-5 days although full effects usually take up to 14 days. The effects usually last 3-6 months but can last for up to 12 months.

We always do an initial facial cosmetics consultation as it’s important to understand the effects you wish to achieve.  After each treatment a follow up is recommended, and this is done during a review appointment around 2 weeks after the treatment.

All prices listed include consultation, a review appointment and additional treatment if necessary

Prices start from £195 per 1ml

Dermal Fillers add volume to areas that have depleted over time such as the cheeks, nasolabial folds and lips. They help to plump up the skin, thereby softening lines and wrinkles. If the lips or facial contours are being treated, the filler adds volume, restores shape and gives a fuller appearance.

What are Dermal Fillers made from?

Dr Duggal only uses dermal fillers which have been the subject of extensive clinical trials.  She uses a variety of different products including restylane, juvederm, perfectha and aliaxin which are all premium products and fully reversible.  These are all hyaluronic acid based fillers. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance found in the spaces between the cells of body tissues in all animals. It has already been used widely in general medicine to help eye surgeons perform cataract operations, and for injection into arthritic joints to aid movement. It is estimated that 30 million patients around the world have been treated with some form of hyaluronic acid.  It hydrates and plumps up the skin.

What areas do you treat with dermal fillers?

Dr Duggal treats the lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds and wrinkles of the lower face.

How is the procedure performed?

Small amounts of dermal filler are injected directly into the skin using an ultra fine needle. As most dermal fillers include an added anaesthetic, the treatment is virtually painless. In addition, topical anaesthetics are used to minimise discomfort.

The length of the treatment will depend on the areas being filled, but generally the procedure takes about 30 minutes.

Dermal fillers work instantly so you’ll see the results straight away.

The effects will fade gradually but should last between 4 and 13 months depending on the treatment, at which point you can come back to us for a top up treatment. If you decide not to continue with the injections, the gel will biodegrade in the skin and simply disappear.
