REGARDING RESTRICTIONS AS OF 19/7/21
FREEDOM DAY UPDATE
We wanted to share with you where we stand regarding the lifting of wearing masks and the precautions we take within the salon moving forward from 19th July 2021.
It has been one of the most challenging times any of us have ever experienced in our personal lives as well as in our businesses lives too, with many hurdles and obstacles to climb, but I am thrilled to say that as a business we have managed them well. We have a strong loyal following because of the decisions we have made throughout this time to safeguard our team & our clients. The wellbeing and safety of all within BUFF LIFESTYLE has and will always remain our priority. It is for this reason, as I am sure most you will already know, that there will be NO CHANGE to our existing COVID salon protocols for now.
We ask that you continue to respect our decision by wearing a mask inside the salon, as will our team also be continuing to wear theirs. We will NOT be removing the screens or partitions either for now, but this will be reviewed regularly.
We have all done so very well. It would be such a shame to compromise this now after everything we have done to safeguard the future for us all.
We would like to take this opportunity yet again to say a huge thank you to our amazing clients who have always remained totally supportive.
Since this all began, we like you can’t wait to get back to normal in every way and look forward to a time without restrictions.

So, you have your booking, that’s fantastic, we can’t wait to see you and welcome you to Buff Lifestyle Hair & Beauty Salon. We will by now have offered you a patch test if you’re booking with us requires it.
72-48 HRS prior to your appointment if time allows, you will receive our automated pre arrival consultation forms for the treatments you have booked with us and COVID19 questionnaire. Both of which are required to be completed in full prior to your arrival. This can be done on your phone, tablet or computer. If this is a problem, please let us know in advance so we can assist you with this requirement.
Please ensure you complete all sections of these forms as they have not only been designed to ensure the best treatment is given, but also to comply with UK safety regulations & insurance purposes too.
We have taken the decision to provide PPE to not only our staff, but have made the decision to provide our guests with this also, in order to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our team and our clients at all times whilst you are with us. This is compulsory for every client in order to attend the salon.
PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ THE INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE ATTENDING THE SALON:
Before you come into the salon we are asking you to please:
Please arrive alone for your appointment, even if you are coming with a family member or someone within your bubble, we will only be able to admit the client who is expected at this time into the salon.
Please wait in your car or outside if it's pleasant weather coming to the door just before your appointment time until you are notified at the door that you may now enter the salon.
A BUFF staff member will greet you at the door when you will then be asked to use our 24HR Zoono hand spray, that allows hand protection for up to 24hrs and kills any bacteria present on hands on arrival.
We will then direct you to our SANIVIEW DIGITAL FACE SCANNER to check your temperature. ANYONE DISPLAYING A TEMPERATURE OF ABOVE 37.5 OR ABOVE WILL BE REQUIRED TO RESCAN UP TO TWO MORE TIMES ONLY.
If your temperature remains higher than medically recommended you will be asked to reschedule your appointment.
You will then be given your very own Buff PPE pack; this contains all you will need to use whilst here for your appointment including the following:
Disposable Face mask - Should You Require It
Cutting or Colour Gown & Cape if required
A large plastic carrier bag to put your coat and handbag into. I am afraid we are unable to take coats or large bags so please keep to a minimum size wise.
The team member responsible for you whilst you are with us will run through everything with you upon arrival before entering into the main salon.
EVERY TEAM MEMBER WILL ALSO BE WEARING FACE MASKS/SHIELDS/ APRONS - THIS IS CHANGED BETWEEN EVERY CLIENT as well as hands being washed and the working area is sanitised with medical grade products to ensure safety and protect the next client.
You will notice screens have been put in place between the hair & pedicure stations, although they are already spaced to the government requirements, we feel this is an extra precaution for you all. The backwash area also has a screen between the basins as has the reception desk area too.
Colour Clients: You may be asked to wait in our comfortable pedicure area whilst your colour is developing due to the restriction on the number of staff and chairs, we are allowed to operate with at this time.
Please bring your own reading material, or iPad or phone as we are unable to provide magazines at this time. All I would ask is that you adopt a kind approach to noise and keep your phones on silent, so not to disturb other clients.
PLEASE practice social distancing around anyone else inside the salon, you will notice floor markings INSIDE & OUTSIDE the salon, these are for your benefit, so please follow when needed.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any drinks other than a small bottle of water currently, so if you would like something else please bring this with you, but please be aware that masks are required to be worn at all times currently so will only be allowed to be moved temporarily to drink then have to be put back on.
We are fully operational as always to take all Credit & Debit cards including American Express.

Have been in contact with anyone with cold or flu symptoms in the last 14 days

If there is any need for cancellation of appointments that are booked for the first week of returning out of Lockdown 3 please be aware this will incur a cancellation charge, which I am sure you will all appreciate the need for this.
