About the job

We are based in a beautiful part of North London in N21, directly opposite the Winchmore Hill train station.

The ideal candidate will need to have skills in CUTTING & STYLING COLOURING. BARBERING WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE. They will possess a strong passion for the industry, always be up to date & current with the latest trends making suggestions and bringing new ideas to the table and have a good work ethic is essential.

Have a desire & willingness to learn new techniques and will be offered training WITH THE BRANDS WE USE IN SALON.

Your retail skills will need to be strong, as is upsell of your treatments, cross selling within a busy hair & beauty salon.

This person will need to be seen as an energetic, dynamic team player with a friendly, professional attitude and willingness to earn and learn with an experienced team and an amazing salon manager to assist you in your journey with us to build a strong and long lasting career move.

We have worked very closely with the AVEDA brand for the last 20 years, and have a fantastic ongoing education programme with them for our team, in particular new starters. We also work with INSIGHT PROFESSIONAL, GHD, FABRIQUE (KERASTRAIGHT), INNOUXE & OLAPLEX All brand training is offered in house.

A flexible approach to working hours with shifts available for evening / weekend / early / late across our working week. PART TIME/ FULL TIME

Requirements

Creative Cut and Styling
Wash and conditioning clients' hair.
Provide hair treatments and colouring.
IF BARBER SKILLS ARE YOUR THING THEN YOU will be required to Shave, Trim and Shape clients' beards and moustaches.

We ask for a minimum of 2 years on the floor salon experience, fluent in written and verbal English language and to be a UK resident.
