Hair Loss in Women

When the hair follicles do not renew themselves, it is natural to experience hair loss problems due to the lack of new hair growth. In daily life, depending on hair combing and styling, 100 to 150 strands of hair are shed regularly.

However, this number may sometimes be higher due to changes in the body and external factors. At this point, when this uncomfortable situation happens, female SMP Hair Loss Scalp Micropigmentation is recommended.

Throughout history, female hair has been a very important symbol of beauty and health for women in every society.

What causes female hair loss?

Unlike men, women rarely suffer from a receding hairline. That said, there are more ways women can suffer a loss of hair. The most common of these are:

  • Stress - Stress has been seen to have a profound impact on hair density, potentially leading to thinning and bald patches.

  • Medication - The side effects of certain types of medication have been known to lead to hair loss.

  • Menopause - The menopause and hormonal changes that occur in females can sometimes impact the hair.

  • Lifestyle - Lifestyle factors, such as diet, amount of exercise, and the living environment can all impact upon the quality of a woman’s hair.

  • Genetics - A factor nobody can control, hereditary hair loss is another common cause of thinning hair and balding.

  • Trauma - A physical or psychological trauma is also known to be a factor in female hair loss.

  • Traction Alopecia - this occurs when a person wears their hair very tight, the continued stress and tension on the hair follicles over a long period of time results in hair loss.

Many men & women have this form of hair loss if they have worn their hair pulled back for many years or wear their hair braided very tightly. Scalp Micropigmentation is a hair loss solution to camouflage the hair loss – the hair tattoo is placed between either repaired hair transplant grafts or amongst the hair remaining to give the illusion of thickness back.

Thankfully, scalp micropigmentation does little to no harm in existing hair. SMP is similar to tattooing and the pigments themselves present no side effects to hair follicles. You can expect hair regrowth to be as normal as possible when you undergo scalp micropigmentation.
