FRANK CASTELLANO

Hello, my name is Frank. I am excited to be working two days a week alongside my friend Hayley at Buff Lifestyle. We've been friends for almost as long as I've been in the hairdressing business, which is over 35 years.

My career began at Vidal Sassoon in Brooke Street, central London, where I spent my first year of apprenticeship learning precision cutting and colour. These skills helped me build a loyal clientele over the years. After Vidal Sassoon, I worked at Steiner's in central London where I honed my passion for creative colouring and cutting, as well as the art of round brush blow drying and hair up for special occasions. It was here where my editorial work career took off.

When I was 21, I became the proud owner and manager of my first salon, Eleganza, in northwest London. I later opened my second and final salon, Spirit of Hendon, where I remained with a team of six for 21 years. Throughout my career, I have attended numerous courses to keep my education and passion for cut and colour current and alive.

My skills include creative precision cutting, short haircuts, men's cut and colour, balayage, Brazilian blow-dry’s, KeraStraight straightening, Olaplex hair treatments, hair up, bridal hair, and plaits. I will be attending training for both AVEDA & INSIGHT over the next few weeks to gain a deeper knowledge of both colour brands and systems, I can’t wait to get started.

Outside of work, my passions include yoga, cycling, and anything related to the "La Dolce Vita" lifestyle.
